Welcome to Kenya Farmers Association.
Our legacy, our people, our commitment to farmers.
Our History
About Us
Founded in 1923, the Kenya Farmers Association (KFA) Ltd was established by farmers to address key challenges facing agricultural producers—limited access to quality inputs, unreliable markets, and weak representation in policy and sector decision-making.
In its early years, KFA focused on collective procurement of farm inputs such as seeds, fertilizers and machinery, enabling farmers to access quality products at affordable prices. The Association later expanded into advisory and training services, supporting the adoption of improved farming practices and technologies.
As Kenya’s agricultural sector grew, KFA developed a nationwide network of supply depots and service centres, improved access for farmers in remote areas, and strengthened crop marketing linkages to both local and international markets.
Following independence, KFA became an important partner in national food security and rural development, broadening its services to include credit facilitation, financial advisory support and insurance linkages for farmers.
Today, KFA operates as a comprehensive agricultural solutions provider, offering quality farm inputs, agronomic advisory services, Veterinary services, farm tools and implements and farm mechanisation support, while remaining firmly committed to its founding purpose of empowering farmers and strengthening Kenya’s agricultural sector.
